The accommodation is situated in the cottage adjacent to the pub and comprises of: single, twin and double rooms plus a family room, which will accommodate 4/5 people. The building has been lovingly restored to reflect a comfortable 'cottage' style which combined with the traditional pub atmosphere, is an ideal place to relax after a day's business, or as a stop over on a walking or cycling holiday.
We welcome business people, contractors and holidaymakers to utilise the quality facilities we have available, whether it be for a short break or long term contract.
We are within easy reach of some of the most breath-taking scenery of the Peak District. Locally there are many places of historical, scientific and natural interest such as Little Moreton Hall, Jodrell Bank Radio Observatory and the Cloud beauty spot. We are also close to Congleton Train Station with rail links to Manchester only 25 minutes away.
Settle yourself down in our bar and enjoy one of our CAMRA Award Winning Cask Ales. We have up to 7 quality cask ales available at any one time plus guest beers which are sourced locally, we've stocked in excess of 360 ales and counting and have been in The Good Beer Guide for 5 years running. We also have a range of premium spirits sold in the large 35ml measure. Outside we have a pleasant beer garden for those hazy days of summer, complete with canal views and play equipment to keep the youngsters occupied.
